This photo was taken at 11:00:09 AM on May 1, 2024 of the Little Garlic River from the North Country Trail near Marquette, Michigan. The little details of nature make up some of the best subjects to photograph, capturing all the little bits of detail and immortalizing them in a way. For me it’s a way to save those images in greater detail than my memory could ever keep hold of.

This hike was the last little adventure my brother and I went on before he graduated college and left Marquette. We don’t spend all that much time together as we both have very busy lives, but it was nice to go on a hike and enjoy the woods together before heading home for the summer.
