This photo was taken at 7:35:19 PM – May 6, 2024 of the apple trees blooming in the backyard of my family home in Hastings, Minnesota. My mom has always had a strong passion for gardening, even going so far as to be a member of the Minnesota Master Gardener’s volunteer program. Both the front and back yard of our home have always had massive flower gardens, I have plenty of childhood memories of helping her in the garden and walking around enjoying all of the blossoming plants.

This photo shows the blossoms of one of the two apple trees growing at the far edge of our backyard beside the large vegetable garden. My family has always found that being able to have fresh food grown right in the backyard is worth the hard work of maintenance, there’s also a small chicken coop beside the vegetable garden which provides fresh eggs.
