This photo was taken at 8:33:47 PM on July 10, 2023 from the cornfield behind my family home just outside of Hastings, Minnesota. Having grown up in a fairly rural area is something I have always been grateful for, especially having a cornfield only separated from my backyard by a line of trees. This makes for a great view of the sky, especially when there are storm clouds rolling past. When I am home in the summers I enjoy walking out the the field edge whenever there’s stormy weather hoping to catch a good view of the large thunderheads produced by the big summer storms.
